BOOM BANG II
A project by NN Contemporary Art in partnership with Zagare Lithuania Capital of Culture 2015 and Errol Flynn Filmhouse
Boom Bang II is the second instalment of NN’s alternative Eurovision. NN & Zagare CoC present a screening programme of visual artists’ moving image featuring music in its broadest sense. Boom Bang II will be screened in Northampton (UK), Zagare (LT) and Tbilisi (GE).

Who can apply
Any artist/group working with music on moving image, born in, living or working in the European Broadcast Area is eligible to apply:
Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City
The artwork will be projected from a hard drive in a screening programme.
How to apply
Please send your submission by url link or FTP to [email protected] or NN Contemporary Art, 9 Guildhall Road, Northampton NN1 1DP, by 23 April 2015 at 13:00 BST.
Each submission must include:
- Digital copy of the work by FTP or URL
- Completed application form (available here)
- 2 stills (jpg, 300 dpi, max 20 x 20 cm)
- Description of the work
- CV no more than 2 pages
Once received the selectors will review the works, with a maximum of one artwork selected from each country for the final screening programmes, which will be shown in the UK, Lithuania and Georgia and more venues TBA. A participation fee will be paid to all artists selected.
