Igloo: Sally Underwood & Roxy Walsh

  • Date:
    16 July–17 August 2012

When: 16 July–17 August 2012
Where: Grosvenor Centre, 2 Union Street, Northampton, NN1 2EW

The offsite season continues with the fluctuating relationships between spaces – architectural, spatial and temporal – which are central to the concerns of Sally Underwood and Roxy Walsh. Their exhibitions playfully blur the boundaries between sculpture and painting. The two disciplines ‘play host’ to each other – a wall painting may be the scenery for a sculpture, or a sculpture the setting for a painting.

This project is supported by Goldsmiths, University of London and will be open Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm.

Igloo forms the starting point for the collaborative undertaking Dependent Rational Animals which will be exhibited in Northampton from July 2012.
