Studios
NN houses four studios that are available to artists and creative businesses to rent; it is our intention to support artists who need a space and who want to work in a lively and creative environment in the centre of Northampton.
The studios are on the 2nd floor, unfurnished, heated with wifi and 24 hour access. They have large windows, two looking onto Guildhall Road, two over NN’s courtyard. There is a goods lift, access for tenants is only via the southern staircase, however, we are currently fundraising for a passenger lift.
The first six months of the tenancy will be part of a pilot scheme as we establish the studio use, and the rent will include electricity while we assess the running costs since there are no individual meters. Following this period there may be an additional charges. Studios can be rented on a 3 monthly rolling basis for up to two years, with the option to opt out every 3 months. They are priced following the National Federation of Artist Studio Provider guidelines to make them affordable.
We are looking for artists and creative individuals who will not only value the creative community but contribute to its success. We are looking for a level of commitment that ensures that the studios are occupied.
